@patrickd9551 Жыл бұрын
@@imisstoronto3121 Yes, highly unlikely. There is a 1 in 300 chance of reversal in the first few months. That is why you need to have your semen tested after a few months, which is (at least here) part of the package deal. Once you get beyond that point chances on reversal are very very slim. Besides that, most urologists recommend the double method, both removing a part of the tube and looping it. Reducing chances even more. But in this instance, the woman in question would have doubled back on her story after hearing about the vasectomy. If she was faithfull, she would have demanded a DNA test when the lawyer told about the snippy part.

I got one. No needle, no scalpel, just topical anesthetic. In and out of the clinic in less than an hour (though you're not supposed to drive yourself home). Kept an ice pack on the groin for the next couple days, which honestly during the summer is kinda nice. Oops-free for 6 years and counting.

I'm planning to have my vasectomy, after the recovery, it's everything back to normal? The balls gets more sensitive or any other side effect?
@jsilbern89732 жыл бұрын
I first read "oops free for 6 kids and counting" lol.
@DMJoeBing2 жыл бұрын
@Player420_ less sensitive to hits in my experience, but just as sensitive to actual touch. After you "clear your system" (post-op ejaculations), my semen was thinner in consistency, sometimes almost like water. But that could just be diet-related, as now, over 10+ years later, it's thickened back up. The odds of Spontaneous Regeneration after 10 years are so astronomical, I'm not concerned about that (if mine regen now, I'm fucking Deadpool). The odds drop significantly after 1 year. Definitely go to your post-op checks for that. The worst part is after the anesthetic wears off. Have frozen bags of peas ready and something for pain (if they give you something). Otherwise no serious side effects here. Good luck! Enjoy 3 days of lying in bed (you aren't supposed to get up and do anything on your own).
@zierlyn2 жыл бұрын
Joe's account of it is pretty accurate. No sex for a week, don't fully trust that the pipes are clean until the follow-up. At most I was uncomfortable for a while for the next week or so, but after like a month everything was back to normal. If anything, I became MORE interested in sex afterwards because there was never any fear of accidents, and no more need for condoms.

Back in college, a friend told me about their family’s tradition of the husbands getting a vasectomy when the couple/his wife decided they were done having kids, rather than make their wife get a hysterectomy (or other permanent methods). Once they’d had the procedure, they got to put their name down in a signature book with everyone else who had done it. They were quite proud of this tradition, and I think it should become more common.

In and out of the doctor's procedure room in 13 minutes (my wife timed it). The nurse and I were joking the entire time. One stitch and I was "Adios doc!" Home, blue balls. ice pack. No biggie. The one stitch fell out at 10pm. Drive myself to the ER, got fixed, home to watch another movie before bed. Day 2 was a bit swollen but no concern. "Tighty whities" were no problem. Point being: IT'S AN EASY MINOR INCONVENIENCE vs a painfil surgery for a woman. As Nike says: Just Do It To add to other comments about ejaculate being clear like water/not white after vasectomy: there's little literature on it (strangely) but it's normal. I've had three Drs tell me it's due to the lack of sperm because sperm is white. Whatever the reason, it's normal. Dont sweat it.
@ililililililililliil2 жыл бұрын
Nah buddy, it’s not normal. To damage a part of yourself, you are too far gone. If it goes well. My godson's dad got his done and he had massive swelling for 4 days, hugged up with the bag frozen peas. As someone who had service commitments, he was cheesed because the odds of serious side effects were low to the point where it wasn't really discussed. Just realize you may be out longer than you think. I've also known these procedures to be done and not do what it was supposed to for the rest of a person's life. I've known two people for whom it worked for years, then worked again and they ended up with a late life unexpected child. Is it safe? Mostly.

@17arando2 жыл бұрын
@@ghandimauler The oopsie risk is different depending on how they do it and unfortunately they don't tend to distinguish between them because all of them are low. For best results, (although least reversibility) the method you want is cut section, cauterize, and bury in tissue. That pretty much takes an act of God to fail. To be fair though, vasectomies of all types, even clamps, have pretty much the lowest failure rate. Far more likely to have an unexpected child on the pill. The extra healing time one is a bit odd. It's a very topical thing and nowadays the incision is so small they don't even need a stitch, just a tiny bandaid. Maybe a reaction to the numbing shot? Hmm

Ryan Reynolds bought an unspecified minority stake in Aviation Gin in 2018. In 2020, the brand was sold to a company called Diageo in a deal in which they acquired the majority owner, Davos Brands. It is unknown if Reynold sold his portion, what that portion may be, or how much his interest is worth. The fact that he continues to advertise for the brand indicates that he does still have a stake in it. Other alcohol brands owned by Diageo are: • Johnnie Walker • Tanqueray • Smirnoff • Guinness • Bailey's • Canadian Crown Royal • Captain Morgan • Don Julio
@spartanx169x Жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure you can search online and find out how much money Ryan has made on the deal and what his involvement in it still is. I can't remember the amount, but it was staggering, like 10s of millions of dollars, possibly 100s of millions. All total with his endeavors, He has made money than he could ever spend. He could have multiple movies failures and not be financially hurt by it. To his credit, He is a lot more financially literate that Johnny Depp and Nicolas Cage.

Then I looked into research that followed up on men who'd had one. 2/3 tell you it was totally fine, healed in a week and there was no problem afterwards. Best decision they ever made. 1/4 tell you they had discomfort and pain for months. 7% tell you they have permanent pain, which becomes so severe during erections that they develop erectile dysfunction. 1% tell you they are in severe permanent pain and that strong painkillers just barely manage to keep them from committing suicide (though they think about it all the time). As much as I want a vasectomy... I'm sorry but I can't work with those odds.
