@@mixodorians12 In fairness to the original comment, and to you, you are right that the supporters literally kept the team alive. They have done an amazing job of running the club sustainably. However, Wrexham is a working class town that can't afford to match the wage bills that many other National League clubs pay. That means that a club with the history of Wrexham is basically doomed to the National League without a cash injection. If Rob and Ryan can use their resources to allow the club to compete in the National League and can get promotion back into the Football League, I think one could argue they saved the club from non-league purgatory.

I'm not a typical sports fan. But, I am actually considering the very real notion of becoming a Wrexham fan because they bought this team. I know they are celebrities, but I love how they are bringing us "in" to the story. The risk is real, and they are putting themselves out there, which makes me want to watch and get to know the team. So yeah, I think I may become a Wrexham fan - you got my support!

I’m from just outside of Wrexham in North Wales, and football (I assume soccer for you haha) is a way of life round here and throughout Wales and the UK. My Dad is from Wrexham (now 61) and has supported Wrexham since he was born, it very much runs in the family as it does for most supporters round here. I can’t emphasis enough the gratitude we have for Ryan and Rob and the commitment and backing they’ve shown the club and by extension the community, it’s truly bizarre in the nicest way possible. I’ve moved away from North Wales now as some do when they enter their 20’s for university or work etc, I still try and come home to watch the lads play with my Dad every other week. It’s a way of life here. Welcome to the club. Up The Town.

I converted a non football fan to a fully fledged Leeds supporter when I showed them the “take us home Leeds united” docuseries, would fully recommend it. Wrexham deffo my second team now too!

There was a fan of Wrexham that was going through hard times and needed a new wheelchair. It was going to cost £6,000. There was a Go Fund me page to raise the funds and Wrexham supporters were donating. They had raised a couple of hundred already when they saw Rob had just donated the full £6,000. Class fellows and Wrexham is blessed to have them.

I couldn't care less about football/soccer/whatever you call it. But its really fucking awesome to see 2 guys I've been watching in movies and tv for the past 15 years invest their time and money, NOT into the labels and sponsors and monetary payback, but into a community, into a towns way of life. It really makes my heart happy and keeps me a little hopeful for the population of the planet I'm forced to live on. Rob and Ryan, you guys keep up the awesome fucking work! I'll help support anyway I can!

WOW !! This is amazing for WREXHAM and as I am half Welsh (my better side) I have been following the story and its both fascinating and hilarious watching Ryan and Rob putting their hearts into this endeavour - I have asked Wrexham if they hold trials as I have an 18 year old son who is an amazing baller and one of the best players, matchwinners I have seen at amateur level (being impartially honest) and I hope to hear back :) COME ON WREXHAM!!

Hey, You's are already heroes for taking the leap. Thank you for blessing others in life through the fortunes your success has earned you's. Even if it failed, you remain the heroes. You tried where others may have straight up denied. Opportunity . . . it's a wonderful, wonderful thing. I keep praying for others and for the day I am able to reach out and help others in life. That is once I frame and sell my latest piece of art in efforts to donate to such an organization. I just finished it today too, so made the timing perfect. You said it better as well. Human. I wasn't offended by their comment either. But it gave a new purpose to my soon to be framed original hand drawn then to print colouring page from my own art. :) Love all. #CanadianArtist

Ryan and Rob are definitely “smarter than your average bear”, and are not in this thing to just make a profit. I believe that with the right Coaching Staff and Manager that Wrexham can rise to the challenge, and I think having owners that really care about the Club, the Players AND the Community will make the Players work harder. There’s not much Ryan does that doesn’t do well. (No GL comments, please.)

i open Disney+ to see 'Welcome to Wrexham' and I just yelled "oh my gosh, it's Ryan Reynolds!" and my sister on the playstation playing with my cousin over call with her earphones in, chuckle, and i'm thinking was she laughing at me? but i choose not to question it and then she says "yeah, did you hear that" 😭 honestly, just unappreciative for my love for ryan.

However, there's an important detail I bet most of the fans miss and they don't even realize they do. Stan Lee R.I.P. His cameos are legendary, a single string that tied movies (and even universes) together. We all acknowledge and thank him for his contribution, his characters, his stories and hilarious cameos. Not disrespect towards Mr. Lee and his legacy but... DEADPOOL can be that new character that would help the audience understand that ALL of these new movies and series are one. All of them together as one. Multiverse? Yeah... But all in one. Put together by Mr. Pool. (Just imagine how hilarious comments and cameos can Deadpool make in each new project)

They’ve invested a lot, yes money but more than that, in a town and team out of money and luck. It’s not just a sports team, it’s the cultural and social recovery of the community.
