I'm familiar with the rotary phone... and a party line... Yep, definite Boomer, and proud of it. I remember when Touch-Tone "dialing" was introduced. And, they charged you extra for it at the time. The "Bell System" even put out educational films about how to use the rotary phone, and bypass talking to the operator (Sarah lost her job in Mayberry). They're here on YT... Ask these "kids" where "dialing a number" came from... and why landlines can still have a switch to select "T" (Tone), or "P" (Pulse) "dialing".

Yeah, I'm actually familiar with the rotary phone and I'm late 80s. Some of it's also where you grew up as some places don't get the newest technology for quite some time.

Same here, the phone cases standing in for actual phones totally distracted me from the rest of the ad.
