I live on the Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia & on the 31st of October, Halloween, 2024 in the early evening we got absolutely smashed by a massive violent thunderstorm that lasted over 4 hours with a radius of over 200km. It was so fierce that none of the kids could go out trick or treating. Massive hailstorm with uprooted trees & a lot of damage with powerlines down. I feel so sorry for the people that suffered damage to their homes & cars but my heart goes out to all those little kids who were all dressed up & wanting to go trick or treating. They would’ve been so heartbroken.
