You can absolutely tell Hugh is enjoying his comic accurate suit. He's been in that thing for months on all ads and promos and hilarious stuff like this. He waited 20 years to finally wear it and he's not letting it go to waste. Only thing missing in these is the cowl and I know the movie will deliver with it

@@WayStedYou it was the best they could do during that time period. If they tried to make comic accurate suits, they'd look crappy and stupid. Plus, the costumes were getting a bit stale at that point and people wanted something fresh. Another reason is that 20th Century Fox was taking a huge gamble with the first X-Men movie. Studios had tried to work with comic book material before but stuff ended up looking campy. They were successful with animated superhero shows bc they had more breathing room with everything. They could defy the laws of physics in cartoons but not in real life
