Kidpool is honestly overrated.

It is one of a kind of a hospital, had a co-worker and friend with a son that was brought here as the son had a very rare cancer case never really seen before and South Africa couldn't find any hospital in any country except Canada that would try and help. Canada immigrated the family from South Africa and brought them here, my company hired the father as a part of the process. Then sick kids took the son in and did what they could. The son lived much longer then he would have in South Africa and the family got to spend much more time with him. It didn't have a good ending, but it was the extra time that mattered. Ultimately, the story had a good ending as sick kids helped them with having another child and found a way through gene editing to make sure the gene with the cancer didn't get passed through to the child. They are a very happy family today living out life like they could not have in any other country. Truly inspired me to be a very proud Canadian!
