The season 4-ending cliffhanger "Consider Me Gone" became an unintentional series finale for ALF when NBC gave Alien Productions a verbal commitment for a fifth season of ALF, but ultimately withdrew its support. ABC resolved the cliffhanger on February 17, 1996: with the TV movie Project: ALF. NBC executive Brandon Tartikoff later told Fusco that the network regretted cancelling ALF prematurely, saying *”It was a big mistake that we cancelled your show, because you guys had at least one or two more seasons left."*

For a moment I thought they were all connected in a linear narrative. After cutting all the cords, Alf's caretaker is forced to live with the consequences of each commercial, becoming progressively angrier with Alf's antics. "Thanks, Alf, we can't watch tv now, and I have to watch you. Hard enough I can only afford to eat cereal, and my body is eating itself."

I loved Alf when I was a little girl , now I got my 11 year old hooked on Alf, he’s been watching it since he was about 8… 🤣 not the best idea I’ve had, but we certainly love the humor. We enjoy these snipets!
